trace our personal service culture to our founder Edwin C Branson who
started his practice of public accounting in Western Colorado on
August 1, 1994. Ed's dayto day dedication to promoting these values
within the Grand Mesa CPAs family is the key to our strong growth.
Ed's enthusiasm and honest desire to develop and mentor young
professionals is evident in the following members of the GMCPAs family:
My career in public accounting began after a successful career in banking where I served as a commercial loan officer for community banks for over ten years. As a commercial loan officer I worked with small to medium sized businesses in a wide variety of industries which required a broad knowledge of small business operations and management issues. My education includes a masters degree in Accounting, a bachelors degree in Business, and a graduate certificate in Community Bank Management.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife Aimee, and our two children. My hobbies are primarily outdoor related including hiking, mountain biking, camping and fishing. Volunteering continues to be a passion for me as I continue to serve on the board of various non-profits.
My career in the tax preparation and accounting services areas of public accounting for over 20 years provides me with a broad range of experience to do what I enjoy most, help
clients navigate through the ever-changing landscape of both small business tax and accounting and personal tax planning and preparation.
During my leisure time, I enjoy outdoor activities, as of late playing frisbee, hiking, fishing and exploring our new area as I very recently relocated from Grand Junction to Houston with my family. Because of our great team on the ground in Grand Junction and advances in technology, I am thrilled to be able to continue to work with our clients very successfully.
I have forty years experience in public accounting and private industry. My wife, Susan, and I have owned and successfully operated several small business including a travel agency, restaurant, and accounting firm. My twenty five years of self employment gives me a unique ability to mentor the partners and staff at Grand Mesa CPAs.
For recreation, Susan and I are living the dream on acreage in the Grand Junction area where we raise and harvest hay and honey for sale. Family, friends and outdoor activities fill most of our leisure time. I announced my "semi-retirement" recently and look forward working on a more flexible schedule.
Nineteen years ago, I began my career in tax and accounting services focusing on the bookkeeping and payroll functions. I finished my accounting degree and have been a licensed CPA for three years. I enjoy helping people with their business and personal tax preparation needs. My favorite part about being a CPA has been developing relationships with clients.
My husband and I have four children and ten grandchildren. We have a small peach and fruit cocktail orchard and enjoy working with the fruit. We also enjoy traveling, fishing, four-wheeling, and time with family.
I have eight years experience in public accounting. I
enjoy financial statement preparation and problem
solving. My experience has given me a great deal of
knowledge regarding the preparation of individual and
business income tax returns.
I find myself enjoying hiking, bicycle riding and home improvement projects with my husband and my daughter. It would be nice if I could have an ocean breeze and view of my home town in Japan when I hike here in the mountains.
I have 13 years of experience in business administration and 9 years as office manager. I joined Grand Mesa CPAs in 2015 and enjoy the atmosphere here and the challenges given to me.
My husband and I have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. For leisure we enjoy family, friends, and outdoor activities.
My husband and I moved to the Grand Valley in 2002 in order to raise our then newborn son near his grandparents. We love the people of this valley and my son and I love to hike the many wonderful trails in the area.
I am a 2015 graduate of Colorado Mesa University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Accounting. Currently I am working towards passing the CPA exam and gaining my license. I have worked in the area of accounting for 15 years in various positions from telecommunication billing, to governmental accounting and most recently in tax preparation. I am excited to be here at Grand Mesa CPA’s and be in the career I have been working towards for many years.
I moved to the Grand Valley in June 2015 after graduating from Fort Lewis College with a Bachelor's of Arts in Accounting. My experience includes bookkeeping, tax, audit, and volunteering for Tax Help Colorado in the spring of 2015. I am excited to be a part of the Grand Mesa CPA's team and working with such wonderful people.
My husband and I love the Grand Valley

with him in Southern Colorado, Utah, and Western Colorado.
I have worked in customer service for many years I enjoy being able to interact with people throughout my day. Being at the front desk is a pleasure for me. I feel fortunate to work with the team at Grand Mesa CPAs.
My husband and I have lived both east and west of the Rockies but decided that Grand Junction is home. We enjoy relaxing with friends, playing with our two dogs, home improvement and crafting projects.
I have about nineteen years experience in various finance and accounting areas, including public accounting in Los Angels, financial planning and analysis, and internal/SOX auditing for global public companies in Japan. Now I am back to public accounting, working for Grand Mesa CPAs. I earned a B.S. In accounting from Colorado Mesa University.
